Caregiver Neustadt

Care for a 76-year-old gentleman, 65 kg and 175 cm, who has Huntington's disease. He is a wheelchair user and can no longer use his legs. A patient lift is required for transfers, available on both floors. A stairlift is also available. The gentleman uses a urinary condom. He is well-adjusted to his medication and requires a regular routine and established daily structure. He needs complete assistance with dressing, hygiene, toileting, and transfers. He is washed in bed. Changing the urinary condom, transferring him to his wheelchair using the lift, and assistance with general care are required. The caregiver also prepares meals and manages the household, laundry, and cares for the cat. Groceries are provided by a delivery service. Alcohol is not permitted in the household. His wife is also a wheelchair user but is independent. She washes and transfers herself to her wheelchair. She only requires help with cooking and household chores. Night duty is not required. The caregiver has 2 rooms and a private bathroom available. Free time is by agreement.
