Caregiver Schöneck

Care for an 86-year-old elderly lady, 75 kg, 160 cm, who suffered a hip fracture from a fall in January. Mentally, she is completely fit and oriented. She has incontinence and uses diapers. The lady is wheelchair-bound. She can only stand for short periods and can only cooperate minimally during transfers. She requires significant physical assistance. A height-adjustable bed, wheelchair, walker, toilet chair, and bedpan are available. She needs partial assistance with dressing, personal hygiene, toileting, and changing incontinence diapers. She eats independently. She enjoys watching television and reading. The caregiver also ensures cooking, cleaning, laundry, and general household management. The family can handle shopping. Her husband also lives in the household and assists with daily activities, e.g., preparing breakfast. The caregiver manages household chores for both spouses. Night duty is generally not required. Free time as agreed upon.
