Care for a independently living 78-year-old lady, 80 kg, 160 cm, who has dementia, high blood pressure, and incontinence. She has no short-term memory, forgets things, and has trouble finding the right words. She can no longer hold a good conversation. She is not aggressive. She moves independently but needs escort for walks. She uses preventative incontinence panties. She forgets to go to the toilet, so she needs to be reminded regularly. She also needs guidance with dressing, hygiene, and toileting, as well as organizing her whole day. It is beneficial to involve her in simple activities, games, and shared activities. She enjoys spending time in the garden. Among other duties, the caregiver cooks, shops, cleans, and does laundry. The lady likes pasta and soups; she does not eat seafood. Shops are within walking distance. Her son, who arrives every morning, can help with shopping. The lady has a GPS tracking bracelet and a watch through which her son can call her. It is important that she does not feel confined or restricted, as then she has no urge to leave. Night work is usually not needed. Lifting is not required. An emergency button is available. A private shower is available for the caregiver. Free time by agreement.
