Care for an 88-year-old elderly lady, 53 kg, 158 cm, who has dementia, urinary and fecal incontinence, and a catheter in place. She experiences anxiety and often occupies herself by manipulating objects. After a five-day hospitalization, she lost the ability to walk; previously, she used a walker, but now relies on a wheelchair. She requires partial lifting for transfers but is cooperative. Based on her health status, it is advisable to gradually practice walking. An electric wheelchair, an adjustable bed, a commode chair, and a shower chair are available. The lady needs assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, toileting, incontinence care, and eating. The caregiver also oversees medication intake. Night assistance is generally not required, as the lady usually sleeps through the night after the bed rail is raised. The caregiver is also responsible for cooking, shopping, cleaning, laundry, personal care, and providing companionship. The lady enjoys reading newspapers and engaging in shared activities. A kind, patient caregiver who will dedicate time to her is sought. Shops are accessible on foot, and a bicycle is available. The lady's husband, who does not require caregiving, also lives in the household. Separate accommodation is available for the caregiver. Free time is by agreement.
