Caregiver Vogtareuth

Care for an independently living 87-year-old lady, 55 kg, 160 cm. She has moderate dementia and general old-age frailty. She is oriented in space but not in time. Her short-term memory is impaired. She is friendly and hard of hearing; one needs to speak loudly and clearly to her. The lady currently moves independently or with a walker. She sometimes needs assistance to the toilet. She also requires help with personal hygiene and dressing. She has diabetes; morning insulin is administered by the care service. She has a heart condition and aortic valve insufficiency. In case of shortness of breath, she needs oxygen, drops, and reassurance. The caregiver is responsible for cooking, shopping, cleaning, laundry, companionship, and cat care. Shops are about a 10-minute walk away; an e-bike is available. Larger shopping trips are managed with family assistance. Night work and lifting are not required. Free time as agreed.
