Care for an elderly married couple in their own home. 90-year-old lady, 60 kg, 170 cm, has pancreatic cancer and a tremor in her right hand. She is mentally sound and mobile independently. She manages personal hygiene, dressing, eating, and toileting by herself. Until now, she has been caring for her husband and needs relief from this care. 90-year-old gentleman, 90 kg, 175 cm, is permanently bedridden and no longer leaves his bed. He has had a stroke, has dementia, and prostate issues. He is constantly dependent on oxygen. He speaks very little now, but can sometimes express his needs and wishes. He wears diapers. The gentleman requires complete assistance with hygiene, which is performed in bed, as well as with dressing, changing diapers, and toileting. He requires partial assistance with eating. Repositioning in bed is necessary. He can cooperate with transfers, still has strength in his hands, and can pull himself up. A profiling bed is available. The caregiver also handles cooking, shopping, cleaning, laundry, and general household management for both spouses. The lady does not require night assistance. For the gentleman, night assistance may be necessary depending on his current condition, but not regularly. It may happen that he wishes to get up during the night. The caregiver has a private bathroom available. A car with manual transmission is available. Free time by agreement.
