Care for an elderly married couple in a shared household. The 91-year-old gentleman, 70 kg, 172 cm, is mentally completely fit but has significant hearing loss. It is necessary to speak to him loudly and clearly. Due to damaged knee tendons and a high risk of falling, he uses a wheelchair. He could still walk physically, but walking is not recommended for him. He manages transfers between the wheelchair, bed, armchair, toilet, and stairlift mostly independently. He occasionally needs a helping hand or support. Full lifting is not required. The 89-year-old lady, 78 kg, 175 cm, has mild dementia and high blood pressure. She is forgetful, repeatedly asks the same questions, and sometimes writes confused messages. She has no tendencies to wander. She moves with a walker. She needs help with showering and companionship on walks. She would like to go for a walk outside twice a day. The caregiver is also responsible for cooking, shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, and assistance with daily life. A cleaning lady comes once a week. Part of the job also includes receiving packages and, at the family's request, opening mail, photographing it, and sending it to the daughters. The household has two adjustable beds, a wheelchair, a stairlift, and a ramp providing access to the garden. Night work is not required. Separate accommodation with its own kitchen and bathroom is available for the caregiver. Free time is negotiable.
