Caregiver Oldenburg

Care for a self-sufficient 83-year-old lady, 46 kg, 160 cm. She suffers from general old-age frailty and a high risk of falls. She has fallen several times in the past, resulting in paralysis of the three middle fingers on her right hand and her entire left arm. Her shoulders are also damaged from falls. She moves independently, but requires assistance when walking and uses a wheelchair outside the home. Her overall condition is gradually deteriorating, and from approximately 4 PM, she becomes low on energy and motivation, making it important to encourage her to be active. She needs complete assistance with personal hygiene, bathing, and dressing. She requires partial assistance when using the toilet. When eating, it is necessary to ensure food is cut into small pieces and to assist her with eating or feed her as needed, given her limited hand function. When preparing meals, it is necessary to avoid tomatoes and mushrooms. The duties also include household help, shopping, meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, and general household chores as agreed. Accompanying her to important medical and other appointments, providing company during the day, and taking walks together are also required. The lady enjoys being driven around in a car by the caregiver for approximately 30 minutes each day. A companion visits her at least three times a week. Night work is required, depending on her current condition, 1 to 5 times per night for assistance with going to the toilet. Lifting is not required. Free time by agreement (including one full day per week).
