Care for an independently living 68-year-old elderly lady, 49 kg, 168 cm, who moves independently and uses a walker only rarely. After a fall, she was hospitalized. She suffers from Korsakoff's syndrome due to long-term excessive alcohol consumption, therefore she needs support and supervision in her home environment. She is a very kind, calm, intelligent, and pleasant lady who readily accepts help. Increased alcohol consumption began after she retired. She smokes and drinks wine; she does not consume hard liquor. When she has company, her desire for alcohol and cigarettes significantly decreases. The lady is independent in dressing and undressing, eating, and using the toilet. For personal hygiene, she primarily needs guidance and supervision, as well as during showering. She only goes for walks outside when accompanied. The caregiver's duties include meal preparation, shopping, household care, laundry, and general household chores. Care also includes daily accompaniment for personal errands, providing companionship, and motivating her to not drink alcohol or smoke. One check is needed at night to ensure everything is in order, or assistance with visiting the toilet if necessary. Lifting is not required. Her daughter visits once a week. Free time by agreement. There is a cat in the house.
