She needs incontinence care, complete assistance with hygiene and dressing, and transfers to a wheelchair. She can only cooperate minimally with transfers and can stand for a short time. A wheelchair, an adjustable bed, and a raised toilet are available. After her fractures heal, she should be more mobile again. Healthcare is provided by the family. The gentleman is 89 years old, weighs 75 kg, and is 170 cm tall. He has early-stage dementia and suffered a vertebral fracture after a fall. He is oriented within his home but disoriented outside the home environment. He is oriented in time and recognizes people. He is also hard of hearing, so you need to speak louder. He currently needs a walker and has an increased risk of falling. He wears diapers and needs help with toileting, especially with putting on and taking off pants, and assistance with personal hygiene. He has an adjustable bed available. The caregiver is also responsible for cooking, shopping, cleaning, laundry, and general household management.
