Caregiver Königswinter

Care for a 94-year-old lady living alone, 65 kg, 155 cm, with general old-age weakness and a high risk of falling. She has high blood pressure, impaired vision (sees about 20% with one eye), and hearing loss, using hearing aids. In May, she fell at night and was hospitalized, subsequently undergoing a short-term hospital stay. After her hospital stay, she is significantly weakened, mainly due to muscle loss after prolonged bed rest. Currently, she has difficulties standing and walking, uses a walker at home, and requires minor physical assistance when standing up. She is afraid of falling again. She is cooperative. The lady is occasionally confused but has many lucid moments and is mentally mostly fine. She is a doctor herself. She needs partial assistance with washing, dressing, undressing, and toileting. The caregiver also ensures cooking, shopping, cleaning, laundry, and help with the general running of the household. A home helper also visits regularly to handle shopping and accompany the lady to doctor's appointments. Regular night shifts are not required; any necessary help depends on her current condition. Free time as agreed.
