Carer Lengede

Care for an 82-year-old lady, 65 kg, 164 cm, who has moderate dementia, general senile weakness, and an increased risk of falling. Her orientation in time, space, and person is impaired. She is not aggressive and has no tendency to wander. She suffered a stroke approximately one week ago, after which her mobility is significantly limited, and she is currently unable to communicate verbally. The lady uses a wheelchair and needs assistance with transfers to and from the wheelchair. She requires moderate assistance for lifting and can cooperate partially. A repositionable bed is not yet available but can be arranged. She needs complete assistance with dressing, personal hygiene, toileting, and daily activities. She is not incontinent but currently uses diapers, which require complete assistance for changing. The carer also ensures meal preparation, housekeeping, laundry, and household help as agreed with her husband. Shopping facilities are approximately 2 km away and are difficult to reach on foot. The carer's own car would be an advantage; otherwise, shopping is managed by the family or husband. Night assistance may be required 1-2 times per night. Her husband also lives in the household and does not require caregiving, but he mostly manages the household and shopping and needs assistance. A private bathroom is available for the carer. Free time by arrangement.
